The kelp forests of the Great Southern Reef support an enormous diversity of unique marine life. White Rock exposes the climate-driven urchin crisis threatening this critical habitat, and presents a win-win solution to save Australia’s kelp forests.

In response to the escalating climate-driven urchin crisis on the Great Southern Reef, a

coalition of concerned scientists, Traditional Custodians, fishers and environmental groups have developed a national urchin management plan to urgently protect kelp forests and restore balance on the reef.

Help us get this urgent plan across the line to protect the unique biodiversity of the Great Southern Reef before it’s too late.
