  Your task is to research species of the Great Southern Reef to build a food web. Please read all of the lesson instructions carefully before getting started.
Step 2: Make Your Draft

Plan how you will be creating your food web and decide if it will be digital or on paper. Connect the organism names with arrows.
Step 3: Design Your Kelp Forest Food Web

Fill up as much of your page as possible and consider using colours to represent different trophic levels.

  Back in the 1960s and 70s, southern bluefin tuna was highly overfished. Extensive research and strict regulations helped now change things around. Watch the video above and use your food web to create a presentation / write a paragraph to predict what may have happened if regulations weren't put in place.
